Finding the “Right” Product

Our basic criteria that we need to engrain into our mind as a product researcher. Every time we are looking at a product idea there should always be on the lookout for the following:

  • Price: Products should be in the market price bracket, anything below the MINIMUM SELLING PRICE can have profitability issues and anything too expensive means spending much more to get started.
  • Shippable: Look for durable and simple products that are not oversized and avoid fragile products.
  • Source able: You should be able to find the product category on over all channels, Global Sourcesor other, similar supplier directories.
  • Seasonality: Ideally, your products will bring in year-round sales. Tip: Use Google Trendsto identify seasonality trends for keywords at the click of a button
